I am sure that you have been anxiously awaiting news about starting your CTE program for Fall 2020. In planning the opening of TRHS CTE programs our number one concern is the health and safety of our students, teachers and staff. Programs start August 24. Students may select to attend classes in person or be 100% online.

All TRHS CTE programs will be utilizing a no touch thermometer to assess the temperature of all students entering their room. If a student has a temperature above 100 degrees, the student should proceed to the school nurse or an area designated for additional screening. Sanitizer products will be used and provided. We will minimize shared material. Social distancing will be in place in classrooms and labs, as well as, personal protective barriers (Plexiglas panels) as needed. A face mask will be provided to every CTE student and staff, and it must be worn. You may bring your own mask. Face shields will be provided if requested.

Computer Aided Design & Engineering Technologies (CADET); Construction Technologies; the Engineering Academy; Forestry & Landscape Management (F&LM); and Health Careers Technologies (HCT) will currently be planned to run four days a week face-to-face, T-F. Monday would be online for all and the instructor has Monday to develop online content for those students that select 100% online, as well as a Monday virtual class for all.

For Athletic Health Care & Fitness (AHCF), Business & Sports Management (B&SM), Cosmetology, Electronics Robotics & Programming (ERP); Marketing, and Teaching Professions the current plan is to utilize the hybrid model. Splitting into two groups A and B; two days per group face-to-face (A-Tuesday and Thursday, B-Wednesday and Friday) and three days online (A-Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, B-Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday).
