Beth Nahra


Beth is an instructor for the Health Careers Technologies Program at Kent Roosevelt High School. Her previous hospital experience has been with many of the local hospitals including Metro General Hospital and Cleveland Clinic. She retired from the medical field and advanced her career obtaining her Master of Education and working in the Aurora City School system and Bay Village school system, supporting students with needs. While there, she worked on the coaching staff for Aurora Middle School Football supporting the coaching staff and students. As a member of the Health Careers Program she educates students in Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology for their futures in the multiple health career programs available to them. Beth has worked closely with students on a multitude of HOSA programs from volunteering at local care facilities, furthering students' future in competitions and working to earn her Nationally recognized HOSA TALL certifications. She has worked diligently assisting individuals with needs through the Special Olympics, Game on Autism Camp and supporting Our Lady of the Wayside. She continues her work to bring awareness for all individuals. Beth is currently working on her second Master’s degree through Kent State University. She is a registered instructor in CPR/First Aid/AED training and enjoys helping others further their knowledge in the healthcare field.
